The fifth edition of the GIS-TE Thermoelectricity thematic school was held from October 08 to 13, 2023 in La Bresse in the Vosges (88), organized by colleagues from the Jean Lamour Institute in Nancy (C. Candolfi, B. Lenoir, P. Masschelein and S. El Oualid). She offered a set of courses taught in French (28 hours) of which 11.5 hours were devoted to supervised work in small groups on the different themes covered by thermoelectricity: thermodynamic bases of thermoelectricity, electronic and phononic transport, metrology, critical review of thermoelectric materials and thermoelectric device engineering.
